The main characteristics of graphite are its resistance to high temperatures, very high thermal conductivity and very low electrical resistance.
Thanks to their ability to withstand very high temperatures, graphite electrodes can conduct enormous amounts of electricity to melt steel scrap.
Graphite electrodes are therefore used in electric arc furnaces for the production of steel, ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
For over 40 years we have been supplying graphite electrodes of different qualities, grades and diameters to the main Italian and European steel groups.
